Is there a service here that would be able to send my cats back to the US? And if so, what would the expense, and procedure be. I know they need rabies/distemper shots and a checkup by the vet just before traveling. But I guess what I need to know is there a company that would be able to help my kitties and me travel across the broad atlantic. Also, I would also like to know if generally it's 1 cat per carrier, or if there can be 2.

Sorry I can´t help, but your best bet would probably be to ask your vets, at least about vaccinations, pet passports, procedures etc. As for services that do pet shipping from here.... mmmh, I don´t know. However, SARA - if you contact Lynne there (www.saralanzarote.com) might know.

It's been a nightmare, hubby and I are having severe financial problems and my family had originally agreed to help us all relocate to the US, where I am from. However, as time went on, my family basically told us they wouldn't help us unless we 'got rid' of our cats. The thing is, that's why we're still here...the cost of taking our cats with us.

And no, we haven't had any spare money to get the kit-teens spayed and nuetered, we're just really financially strained at the moment.
